can anyone suggest a shuttle into town? 2 adults 2 kids 4 bags. we r open to train, bus, or taxi, looking 4 easy-quick-n-cheap. we need to get to the port/cruiseship area. thanks
Does the cruise line offer transport? Probably for an exorbitant fee. A taxi might be the most cost effective with the family in tow. Otherwise Aerobus leaves from the arrival terminal to Plaza de Catalunya 3/hr, 30min., 3.6 euros. Or a RENFE train from the airport station 2/hr, 20min 2.5 euros to Sants station and Plaza de Catalunya. All info from RS guidebook. But I'm sure the port is not at the top of Las Ramblas and you would need further transport.
We are going to be arriving in Barcelona and using the Aerobus.
thank you! i did read RS-best of europe 07. i had heard that the airport was full of private and airport shuttles, but did'nt have names or experiences. also heard that the taxi's balk at more than 2 passengers and want lots more $ for 3-4 pax. anyone heard the this? been there, done that?
yes the cruise ship offers transport for $100 4 passengers. I was hoping to find it cheaper. plus on our outbound trip we r stay a few days longer n the ship only offers shuttle svc. for the day of dep/arv.thanks Does anyone have info on shuttles etc? Help!
