I'd like to hire private car service for a pick up at the Madrid airport to take me to Ada Palace Hotel. What companies do you highly recommend
Since no one has responded to your question -- not something that most of the folks on this site do -- I would suggest ask the hotel for a recommendation. I assume you do not want to use a taxi.
I would suggest Aerocity Vans...I think they also have private vehicles as well. check their web site
Hello, Marguerite Victoria!
The Hotel Ada Palace is a very nice, newly opened (2009) hotel in an excellent location. Good choice. Hope you get one of those rooms with the spectacular views. And talk about an impressive (near-rooftop) outdoor terrace for cocktails! As mentioned above, Aerocity is reliable and has been around for about 10 years. I've taken them, too, on 2 occasions. No problems. Truth is, there are very very few licensed airport-to/from-hotel transportation companies mainly because they have to have special permission (a paid-license) to make such trips. Aerocity has that, but I can't think of a single other one. Best of luck and enjoy your stay in Madrid! Saludos, MadridMan @ you-know-where!
I've used Aerocity before and will again when I want to go directly from Barajas to my hotel. They are very reasonable, and you can reserve either a private or shared van (shared might have 1-2 stops before your stop). Both options are reasonable. The cheapest option by far is the newer Express Bus that travels directly from Barajas to Atocha at 2€ per person, but that won't take you to your hotel. Aerocity operates 24x7, and it's a great option for an early flight home...will pick you up at your hotel door. Go with Aerocity, and have a great trip!
