Airport hotel - Paris

Hello- We have a very early flight home leaving from Paris and are planning to arrive the evening before, drop off our rental car and stay at a hotel. Wondering if anyone has recoomendations for a hotel that has a shuttle run to the airport? I know there are some hotels at Charles de Gaul Airport but would prefer to stay somewhere else if possible. Merci!

Your choices with shuttle are: On the airport. Off the airport to the east, the area which I don't know the name of, but there isn't much there. Off the airport to the west almost to Roissy ville which has a few more places to eat. I've used One and Three. One is better. If you don't drink and can handle a night run (if it's actually dark), you might want to eat in town and just drive out to zonk. I've done that one and think it stinks.

I don't know of any hotel in Paris that has a shuttle to the airport , unless you arrange a private and pricey service(often twice as expensive as taking a taxi) through them. I have heard the Airport Ibis has a shuttle but wouldn't want to spend my last night by the airport if I didn't have to, there is nothing there. I would just find a nice hotel in Paris and arrange via G7 taxi service for a pick up in am to get to airport.
You can call them ( or have hotel call them ) the night before, they have English speaking operators) you can also prebook online on their website I believe, you will have to check on that.

The Accor hotel chain, which includes Ibis, operates a number of properties at and near CdG. www.accorhotel.com or www.ibis.com They are connected by a shuttle van from the roof of Terminal Two. Note the distances from the airport, as some of these hotels are actually nearer the convention centre than the terminal buildings.
There is plenty of competition from other hotels so prices can be reasonable. Dining and bar costs, however, may be stiff if management regards the guests as a captive audience. In my experience Ibis is okay on this factor.

We just got back from Paris and we stayed the night before our flight out at Campanile Roissy. There is a shuttle that runs from several hotels in that area to CDG airport. It was very nice and they had an excellent restaurant. We were very satisfied. (email: [email protected]) We ended up taking the train to the airport and catching the shuttle to the hotel.

Why not stay at CDG? We have always turned in our car and stayed at the Ibis hotel at CDG. It is at Terminal 3 and it is only about a 100 ft. walk from the hotel to the free shuttle train to Terminal 2. It doesn't get much easier than that and you don't have to worry about whether the shuttle bus will really be there or not.

If you use the G7 taxi service in Paris you can schedule the pick up online, they send you an SMS as confirmation, and they're there when they say they'll be. It works slick!
