Airport Baggage Storage

Hi everyone,

I'm studying abroad in Milan for four months, and I'm bringing a camera backpack, a small suitcase, and a large suitcase. I'm going to travel for 10 days before I arrive in Milan, and I won't be stopping by Milan before I travel. Therefore, I want to pay to leave my luggage at the Nice airport (where I'm initially arriving from the U.S.) However, I was planning on taking a train, not a plane, back to Nice after the 10 days to pick up my stuff from the airport.

I'm not sure if the Nice airport will require me to present them with two plane tickets (to make sure I'm coming back for my stuff) or if the one arrival ticket is sufficient. I'd like to contact the airport but am concerned about the language barrier. I've already looked on the airport website, but it only states, "Must present valid airline ticket." Does anyone who has done this before know the airport requirements?

Also, can anyone think of other ideas for storing my luggage during these 10 days?

Hi René, Could you possibly store it at the Nice train station instead? If your luggage is difficult to manage on your own, maybe you'd need to take a taxi to the train station especially after a long flight.

Hi Darcy,

Do you know if train stations often offer this service? If so, do you know how it works exactly?
