I am considering renting an airbnb room in Paris for a few days in April. Some of the places look really nice, but the rates seem too good to be true. It's an American company and everything seems upfront. Is there anything I should look out for?

By-the-way, after my previous post, I put "airbnb" in the search box on the top of the Rick Steves page and got lots of hits. I vaguely remember seeing something about the search function being upgraded. It is worth a try if anyone wants to ask a question that lends itself to a simple search (as an airbnb search might be).
