Advise on eurail pass best purchase

though have tried explore DB Hahn website & Rich steves instruction, I'm quite confusing with train ticket purchase options: point to point & eurail pass/selected . Any one experience wt this may advise me the best options for train ticket purchase. Below is my inititary:
- Sep 7-9: Paris tour
- Sep 10: train Paris to Amsterdam central
- Sep 10-11: Ams tour
- SEp 12: train from Amsterdam to St-Goar
- Sep 13: St-Goar tour
- Sep 14: flight from Franfurt Hahn to Rome
- Sep 15-17: Rome tour
- Sep 18: train from Rome to Florence
- Sep 19: Florence tour
- Sept 20: train from Florence to Venice
- Sep 21-22: Venice tour
- Sep 23: train from Venice to Biel/Bienne
- Sep 24-26: Swiss Alps tour
- Sep 27: train from Biel to Zurich airport

I worked out 3 options:
1/ buy a 5 days selected pass 5 countries (2nd class saver at 377euro) to cover the destination to destination trip (Paris-Ams-St-goar,Rome-Florence-Venice-Biel) & buy dialy train ticket for city tour.

2/ buy a 15 days eurail pass (fr sep 10-24)at 481euro & buy daily train ticket for 3 days in Paris & 2 days in Swiss Alps

3/ buy a 21 days Eurail pass at 625euro.

Your advise?

thanks,
quy

Quy, you do not need a Eurail pass for the journeys you have listed. You seem to have only 1-2 train rides in each country and that is not enough to warrant a Eurail pass. Also, the different countries will add a supplemental or seat reservation fee on top of your railpass to ride their premium trains. This includes the Thalys train (Paris to Amsterdam and the Eurostar in Italy). In Italy, the seat reservation fee is 15E-20E to ride the Eurostar). It's a bit more work to get your P2P tickets in each country but they will be much less expensive than a Eurail pass. For the Thalys train, you can buy in advance and get special fares. That will save you even more money.
