Advice on Where to stay in Paris for a family of 5

We are going in June, 2 parents 3 teenage daughters. I've found a bunch of hotels but they tell me that we will have to rent 3 rooms, and then some of the hotels I've found with triple rooms are very pricey. Any advice, I've been looking in the Rue cler area mostly. Any good hotels, or apartments for 3 nights you would recommend? I've thought of bidding on priceline for 2 rooms, but not sure what they would do with a 5th person.
Thanks

Lindsay, scroll down to Jean-Paul's 3/24 request for advice on Paris apartments. Very good info there, and I would recommend that you try to find an apartment rather than hotel. Maybe a 2-bedroom with sofa in living room would work for you, though if 4-night minimum you might have to pay for the extra night which might be worth it. Paris is very pricey. We used and loved www.feelslikehomein paris. Good luck!

Check out the Hotel Marignan in the 5th. There can hardly be a better more central location and they can accommodate parties up to five in one room. They have a website and lots of reviews on TripAdvisor. We've stayed there a couple of times and would do so again. The only cautionary note is that they don't have A/C and June temps might be uncomfortable. All their staff speak English. Use Skype to call and ask about their accommodations.

VacationInParis.com has apartments all over Paris and is very reliable. They will take bookings for only 3 nights (although the price is better for 5 nights or more).

Lindsay, check out apt rentals thru VRBO.com and Homelidays.com(also Homeaway) They are sister companies who specialize in apt rentals throughout the world. We usually use VRBO in the EU, but in Paris we found a great place thru Homelidays.

I was going to suggest VRBO.COM but Steve beat me to it. We rented our first apartment for a trip to Paris this fall and so far it has been real smooth. We met a couple last year in Rome who traveled all through Europe and stayed in apartments exclusively from VRBO so we thought it was worth a chance. Bon Chance
