We enjoy visits to Germany during Advent Season. Plenty to do with sightseeing and the Christmas Markets. Not too many travelers except at a few places. This year we probably will start in Würzburg for a couple days. In the past, we have headed south from there but are thinking of some new places this year. I have been reading about some towns in northeast Bavaria: Coburg, Bayreuth, Kronach and Kulmbach. I figure about 3 days to visit two of these places. (We have already visited Bamberg in this season.) Does anyone have any experience with these towns in Advent Season (Christmas Markets) or more generally in the winter? Any big pluses to one over another? Thanks for your thoughts, Gary
