We are going to fly out of Zurich back to the US in September. Does anyone know a good hostel or inexpensive hotel in Zurich that's close to the airport? Or even one that's not close to the airport but inexpensive?? I haven't had much luck finding anything.

Wendy - I don't know if this is too late, but the Hotel Allegra by the airport can be gotten at a good rate (we got it through Hotels.com once). They have transport to the airport and the rooms were spotless. Also there is a Park Inn in Rumlang that my inlaws have stayed at. They also have a van service to the airport (it's further away than the Allegra though). Hotel Allegra is right by the Kloten rail station so easily accessible from public transportation.
