Accomodations in Chartres

I stayed at Hotel Chatelet, a few minutes walk from the cathedral and the pedestrian market zone. Two things you don't often find in French hotels were here- large, spacious rooms and ample on-site parking on the hotel's private lot.

we stayed at, believe it or not, the best western, which as you may already know, has taken over several old hotels in various cities in europe (we didn't know). it's a lovely place, with a great breakfast.
