Accomodations in Bilbao

Has anyone had any experience with B&B's or small hotels other than the one that ETBD uses for it's tours. We will be staying over after our tour and would like to consider some other accommodations.

Not exactly small, but the Carlton has been the grande dame of Bilbao hotels for a zillion years. It's a bargain and about as good of a location as you can get. I'm not a fan of larger hotels, but I never pass this one up.
