Any suggestions for good, reasonably priced hotel in Beaune? I know that Le Cep is good but it's a bit pricey.

We liked Etap Hotel or Ibis hotel both about 5 min from Beaune. Great rates book online.

Hotel de France isn't fancy but it's very convenient if you're traveling by train. It's about a 10 minute walk to the main part of town. www.hoteldefrance-beaune.com

Thanks everyone. We opted for Hotel de France because we're arriving by train in the evening and it's convenient. Restaurant recommendations also welcome.

Steve, I think you should mention that Rousseau is a very quirky, creaky old place.
Lots of character, and I loved it, but I'm not sure everyone would. Especially if they are thinking wistfully of Le Cep.

Hi Ken,
We were in Beaune off-season so we didn't have good luck well with our restaurant picks for dinner as some places were closed.
We did have a really nice lunch at Bistrot Bourguignon (a bistro/wine bar.) You might check out the menu if you're looking for a light dinner.
Pedestrian-only street at 8 rue Monge.

Hotel des Remparts. Just inside the city walls beautiful hotel that isn't too pricey at all.
