Hi,
We are driving from Colmar to the Lake Geneva region. We'll be there for two nights before we head out to Milan via Aosta valley.
Please suggest reasonable accomodation options for 5 people during our stay in that region. We are looking for an accomodation which is not expensive at the same time we get to enjoy our two days in Switzerland.

Do you mean you want to be in Geneva, Lausanne, Vevey, Montreux....etc? The "region" of Lac Léman covers quite a large area. I would use tripadvisor.com to see what's available for your dates and to check recommendations but I think you'll need a city name to search. Also,the words "inexpensive" and "Switzerland" are rarely used in the same sentence!

If you are considering Lausanne I liked Lausanne GuestHouse www.lausanne-guesthouse.ch however it may be out of your way. Switzerland is very expensive.
You might consider staying in Chamonix France (less costly & beautiful)then take tunnel to Aosta area as an alternate

The Riviera Lodge in Vevey (a small lakeside town near Montreux) is a hostel but has private rooms, including double and quad rooms. All have shared bath rather than private bath. but you will find accommodation for five for around 260-280 CHF. That is inexpensive for Switzerland.
