We are planning to pick up a river cruise in Basel on November 8 and are going early to see some of Switzerland. We have condo accommodations in western Switzerland (near Martigny) and are considering accommodation near Interlaken and Lucern for a couple days before catching the cruise in Basel. Traveling at this time of year (first of November), will we likely need reserved accommodation in Interlaken and Lucern?
Your advice on the need for reservations, and possible places (4 of us traveling) would be appreciated.
