Hi, I am visiting Bavaria for about 3 weeks & looking for an inexpensive pension or flat to rent. Travelling alone with 3 year old...so kids friendly is important as well as access to train. Would like to stay within 20 minute radius of Amberg Germany. Thanks!
EDIT: To clarify, my destination is approx 30 min east of Nurnburg. I've checked into hotels but would prefer something a bit more quaint, personal & less expensive. Thanks soooo much!
There are two Ambergs in Bavaria. One is west of Munich and the other east of Nuremberg. You might specify which you are visiting.
The larger of the two Ambergs (east of N) has a room finder on its website. Perhaps unfortunately it is in German:

A Fereinwohnung is a vacation apartment, but there does not seem to be much selection.
