Hi, I'm having trouble finding accommodations for my family of four (kids are 7 and 9) in Amboise in early April. Many rooms are only for 2 people. We typically like staying in towns so we can walk places. Any ideas or recommendations? Thanks!

You might have a look at TripAdvisor, as they have lots of reviews of Hotels in that area. One smaller Hotel that seemed to get generally good ratings was Hotel Belle-Vue.
Also, have a look at www.virtualtourist.com/hotels/Europe/France/Centre/Amboise-139060/Hotels_and_Accommodations-Amboise-TG-C-1.html.

I ran across this listing while looking for San Diego lodging. This owner has property in Amboise and Paris that she also rents out.

My son and I stayed at Le Hotel Blason and it was cozy and nice with good staff. I know they have a family room with a double and 2 twins and their breakfast was great. short walk to river and they have a parking garage.
