It would be more helpful if you were to define affordable, and in euros if possible.

Hi Debbie, we stayed at the Eiffel Seine http://www.hoteleiffelseineparis.com/ we had a triple room, we we're 2 adults and a child, the room was small, but very clean and nice. breakfast was included and it was good, it is right across the metro Bir Hakeim station and 5 min walk from the Eiffel tower.

We are a family of four and I had difficulty finding accomodations so I know how you feel. Some hotels have what is called "family rooms" --- for more than 2 people, but usually they are not posted on their website, you must ask ---and make sure the 3rd person will be on a bed and not a crib, ie make your child's age known.

We are renting an apartment via www.vrbo.com and found it to be our best option (vacation rental by owner) both pricewise and convenience...some have washers and most have kitchens. Good luck!

Residence Du Palais I stayed at was a cheap, clean pension/budget hotel right across the street in from the jardin du luxembourg. A really nice area to stay in.
