I will be in Brussels for a week at the end of May and would like to do a day trip to the Abbey Villers la Ville about 30 minutes south of Brussels by train. The Rough Guide and the Abbey website indicate that you can get to Ottignies or Charleroithere by train and then walk to the Abbey from either city. I am curious to know if anyone has ever actually done this and how easy it is to find on foot. I will not have a car and I will be alone. Thanks in advance for your help!
