We are looking for a wine experience in N. Spain. A winery with some type of lodging. Possibly something we could get to on a lesiurely train ride from Barcelona. It would need to be reachable practicably from Barcelona.

Hi John, they have organized tour to the Penedes Valley from Barcelona, just google wine tour in Penedes Valley. We had a car, and we visited the Torres winery, good tour of their modern facilities, we also took a tour of Cordeniu a champagne/sparkling winery, this tour was good also. The Penedes Valley is about an hour from Barcelona. Hope this helps!
