Sunday concert @ St Sulpice

We plan to sit in the back of the church so we can climb to the loft to see the organist after the 11:30 concert-just how crowded is it likely to be i.e. how many RS readers generally show up on a given Sunday? Should we plan to attend the 10:30 Mass in order to be able to "get a good seat" for the concert and the loft visit? As far as I know, May 5 (Cinco de Mayo) isn't a special church holiday in France.

No, May 5th isn't a special holiday in France. It's the date the Mexicans drove the French out of Mexico.

:) Excellent!!!! Who was that masked broad that appeared out of nowhere, dropped a zinger, and disappeared into the setting sun?

We went on June 2, 2012. There was hardly anyone there. The concert was great. We went before the mass because there is music before and during as well as the concert after. After the concert, we went to Santa Lucia, a small Italian restaurant on Rue des Canettes within a block of the church. We were somewhat early for the Sunday lunch crowd, but it filled up quickly. The food was divine.

The mass is generally not crowded, and only about 6-10 people make the loft visit.
