Rain in June

I was looking at average rainfall in Paris, Luxembourg, Brussels and Interlaken and it seems like in all of these places it rains a lot. Should we be concerned about bringing rain gear for these places in June of 2012. I know summer is way out of the way, but does anyone know how the weather will be like this coming summer? Thanks!

It will be sunny, with a 40% chance of rain on 15 of the days, a 10% chance on 10 days, and 100% chance on 5 days. Temps will range from 60-80 °F the entire month. No snow is predicted. Please don't ask me how I know this information. It is a secret.

It rains in Europe whenever it wants to. I'm pretty sure it's rained everytime I have been to Europe. I suggest you always plan on rain whenever you travel even if going to a desert. It rains there too but not as much. The Pacific Northwest does not have a rain monopoly.

The same question with more responses is running under General Europe so best keep the responses there. Smart travel and not so smart travelers always bring rain gear.

Jo, you must have the wrong forecast. I heard it will snow everywhere except Luxembourg which will have a heat wave. The day of the new moon there will be an ice storm in Brussels followed by dark.

Brenden,, its not a rainforest in any of those areas,, but yes it MIGHT rain,, but a light rain/windbreaker type jacket and a small umbrella is all you need( and you may not need it at all) . Don't bother with the Gore Tex, and rubber boots. , lol
Weather is completely unpredictable, i have been in June when I have roasted in a heat wave( to me) and other times dealt with a few days of light rain,, nothing horrendus ..
