Any suggestions for activities/dinner on Christmas Eve and Day in Vienna. I will be traveling with my family of four (two daughters, ages 15 and 19).

In German speaking countries, Christmas is a longer lasting holiday than in many other places in the world. Christmastime in Vienna is wonderful. Many Christkindl Markets around the city, look to Schoenbrun Palace and the Rathaus for two very good ones. For events and such, go to:

And enter your dates to see what is going on. Many restaurants and some shops will be closed during this time so do some research, especially on dining.
