I'm trying to book two train tickets from Madrid to Sevilla on September 5, 2011. I know the tickets go on sale a certain number of days before the trip, so I counted backwards and they should be available by now. When I put in my date there are about 17 time options listed, but there are only prices beside three of the available times. The other ones all say 'train blocked', including the time I wanted. Can anyone tell me what 'train blocked' means in this context?

I believe that means they just haven't put those tickets on sale yet. I see that all the AVE trains that day are blocked. I checked the previous few days and it was the same thing. The good news is that others are not able to buy the Web fare tickets either. Just keep checking back each day until the fares are posted.

Excellent! No credit card issues? And younger able to get the Web fare? Enjoy Sevilla. We were there during the Feria (in May this year) and it was so much fun.
