I have one day in Lugano on my way to Milan. I am thinking that I would just have time to wonder about town.
any suggestions like places for supper? Or any other things to do? thanks Stew

We did a day trip from Varenna to Lugano in 2007 and had a wonderful day. The lake is beautiful and the landscaping was great. I don't remember the name of the restaurant but there were about 4-5 of them clustered in the town's main square and I had "game" with pasta which was very good. Basically, it's a town to wander and enjoy the ambience. There is a casino there but didn't to as the only gambling that I do is what the exchange rate will be that day.
