My college roommates and I will be traveling through Europe and I was wondering where we should spend more time, Brussels or Amsterdam?

Better beer in Belgium but Amsterdam makes up for its lack of good beer by being the cool city that it is. And well, you can get Belgium beer in Amsterdam too.

Amsterdam- so much to see just wandering the City; plus Museums; plus easy access by train to nearby sights. Brussels is a big city with minimal appleal to me

Thanks so much everyone. The biggest appeal of Brussels to us was cheap beer and the experience of a different city. It sounds like Amsterdam has both of those while being "cooler" than Brussels. Thanks!
