Does anyone know of a nice apartment to rent for 5 days in Vienna.
Thanks
Here is the service that we have used on three trips:

If you want a good central location try Apts. Am Opernring, a little out of central Apts. Augarten, where we always stay (which is about 15 min by S-Bahn from city center is the Apts. Kaminek. All of the above are listed with the site I mentioned and all are very highly recommended by friends and family. If you need more help, I am happy to help...Wien is our favorite city and we know it very well.
We atayed in Apartments Lichtenstein on Grosschiffgasse across the river from the central part of Vienna. OUr experience was fine, apartment spacious and clean, shopping for food easy.Transport is a short walk away.
Hi Ginny - I know an apt you do NOT want to rent --- or rather a person you don't want to rent from. I've rented in Europe many times & found Vienna difficult. There just didn't seem to be much to rent. The owner was named "Dr. Ezzati" & he was impossible to contact when we had problems (which of course we did.) I could get him easily on the phone from USA before I left & before he had my $$$. He answered my emails promptly before I arrived. He owned several apts. I think I found his apt on the VRBO web site (have found several nice houses on the same web site so it was probably him & not the VRBO site.) Good luck! Lucie Butler
To all who are looking for apts. in Vienna:

This is a service we have used many times for our visits there, plus all our friends and family have used it as well. All of the landlords are quite honest and usually very helpful. Contrary to the prior poster there are quite a few apts. available throughout Vienna, you just need to know where to look.
We stayed at Fleger's back in 2000. A great apartment in the Ottakring. www.fleger.at
