Travelling to Bilbao, Spain and looking for accomodations, please advise.

The Carlton. Good location and it's been around for seven evers. Probably costs eighty euro or so per night, but well worth it.

In May, we stayed in The Hesperia Bilbao which was a very nice, modern hotel right between the Old Town and the Guggenheim. Rooms were a bit small but very typical for Europe. Bed and bath were very comfortable. Free wireless internet as well. It also has a carpark underneath the hotel which was 14e. We originally were schedule for 2 nites with the room rate @ 80e/ nite including VAT. We had to cancel the first nite because we were stuck by the volcano. The staff was very accommodating.
