Shorts... in Paris?

I am traveling as with a 19 year old student. Do women wear shorts (proper shorts...more toward the dressier Bermuda length not the ratty denim variety) in Paris? How hot an humid will it be? I am from the Boston area.

Young grils/women in Paris are most definately wearing shorts, not bermuda length at all, short shorts. , and get this ,, sometimes with pantyhose and heels or Vans,, super common.

It is hot and humid sometimes in Paris, I was there are few weeks ago and it ranged from cold and wet to too too hot in a few days. Be prepared though, when its hot its hot, no sea breezes at all, LOL

The young people wear whatever they want,, don't try and make your dd look like an old fuddy duddy, she will resent it once you get to Paris and see the anything goes style the young there wear.

I'm also from the Boston area, and we found Paris hot and dry (much drier than it is in New England in the summer) when we visited last July. The only time it seemed humid was the one day it rained. Unlike Boston, it really cools down at night there, so you can sleep with the windows open and be comfortable.

Women under 25 or so do wear shorts, the shorter the better, and they really dress them up. Women over 25 do not. Women of all ages wear short skirts. These can be more comfortable than shorts for walking on hot days, plus they're harder to mess up, fashion-wise.
