B&B in Amsterdam

Anyone have any they especially would recommend. Less than $150 a night? Thanks.

We stayed at BB IJ in Amsterdam 2 years ago. We had the bottom floor room with garden access and windmill view. I believe it was 100 euro. They stock your room fridge with breakfast food. I really enjoyed my 3 day stay there. It was close to the Tropen museum in the south east corner of Amsterdam, a little off the beaten path but public transportation was easy.

We used the City Mundo site (http://amsterdam.citymundo.com/) to find/book a place to stay. What we booked wasn't exactly a B&B ... it was the upper floor of the flat of the owner. It had a full kitchen, large tub, and even a washer & dryer. On the site you can also check out possibly renting a houseboat (which we nearly did).

We stayed at Boogaard's B&B in Amsterdam and enjoyed it a lot. Short walk from train station, quiet street, easy access everywhere. Excellent breakfasts and near your pricepoint as I recall. I found him on tripadvisor and would return.

Have you checked out the listings in RS guide book on Amsterdam? - it has numerous listing that may fit your requirements. I have used it twice for B&Bs.

B&B Batavia, I forget exact price but both rooms less than $150. About 10 min walk to Anne Frank House, very central, I've stayed there twice and will stay next time I go. Owners very nice, breakfast in room, bread, meat, cheese, jam, butter, chocolate sprinkles!, orange juice, coffee and tea in room with hot water maker, small fridge to keep leftovers. Private bath (shower, no tub). Very clean, about 2 years old (if that).
