Our trip has been cut short so we have only 5 nights. What town would you suggest as a home base or should we go directly to Munich and do day trips? Since we will be flying out of Munich I would like to spend the last night there. Traveling by train and bus of course we would like the best views. We started out with nights in Val Gardena, Mittenwald and on to Munich now that won't work. Any suggestions for a well rounded trip...
