Honfleur or Rouen??

If you were going to spend one night, which city would be the best choice? Any suggestions would be helpful. Billy

I second Steve's suggestion. My first trip to Honfleur was some 30 years ago. And I still remember this sunny afternoon in the pretty small town when we spent an hour just sitting at a cafe, drinking Orangina, chatting with our friends and watching the people around us ...

I agree with each comment about Honfleur being by far the most charming, laid back and lovely town. But for history and a better feel for Normandy, I would pick Rouen. Actually, I have done both and loved both. Whatever you do, have fun and slow down to enjoy all that is offered. Safe travels, Jan

Honfleur! I've stayed in both, and loved them both, but if I only had one night I'd go for Honfleur. It is a charming, romantic little town. My husband and I celebrated our 27th anniversary there and we couldn't have picked a better spot.
