travelling with pets

I am planning a trip to France in 9/2010. I am bringing my service dog and need to know what documentation is needed for her to enter France. We are flying USAIR and they referred me to the French Minister of Agriculture in France. I speak vacation french, but not enough to converse with a government authority or navigate the website. Does anyone know what is needed or have any suggestions?

The rules for service dogs are different than for other pets. It should make it easier for you. My French is still very good so if you want to give me the URL for the website you've been referred to I could go through it and see what I can find.
