Has anyone gone to the opera in Paris? I will be there (1st time) in the Fall. Is it possible to get day of performance tickets? What is the dress code? Thanks.

Check the schedule on-line. Although many opera companies in Europe offer rush tickets available for a reduced price on the day of performance, if there´s a famous singer scheduled to perform, it might be a good idea to pre-order.
