I heard the catacombs were closed last fall. Does anyone know if they are open now? I'll be there the end of February. I'm thinking extra layers for that day!

I see that Paris Walks is running a special walking tour of the Catacombs on Feb. 18th (perhaps before you arrive).

They are allowing only 200 people at one time down in the Catacombes. Definitely worth seeing--no flash allowed.
