We are a family planning 4 nights in Jungfrau Region at end of June. Gimmelwald, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen or Murren? Why?

How old are your children, and what do you wish to do while you are there? Hike? Ride lifts to views? Cruise on lakes? These considerations will affect the answers.

Hi Lesley, Did you forget Wengen or is that not an option? We stayed 4 nights in Wengen quite some time ago and loved our stay there. The scenery was out of this world beautiful. We stayed at the Hotel Eiger, which has been converted to apartments. Paul

I've been to the area four times in the past 10 years and found Grindelwald the most convenient. It is centrally located and has lots of options for lodges. Every time we stayed at an apartment for 4 or 5 nights, and I think it tends to be more affordable for families.
