We leave tomorrow for Europe. I want to take along some of my vitamins. Do they need to be in their original containers or may I pack them in plastic baggies? They would be in my checked luggage.
I have never carried my vitamins in their original containers. I have always used tiny plastic bags. Never had a problem, even with my prescriptions drugs. But I do carry the prescription from the pharmacists.
Thank you for your advice. I will give it a try.
After my experiences with French border guards, I would leave them and all medications in original bottles.
I travel with vitamins and other supplements in baggies all the time with no problems, even in China. Worst case, if they confiscated them I could do without them until I got home. Prescriptions are, of course, a different story, and should be in the original bottles.
