Our flight lands in Venice for a 7 day cruise to Greece can anyone tell me what we should do with our luggage so we can tour before and after our cruise...

There is a bag storage in the train station. 5EUR per bag is what we paid for 6 hours. Not exactly cheap - but well worth it for the day in Venice...

When we went on a cruise from Venice, we arrived at the train station a few hours before boarding. There was service at the train station where we paid them 5 euro a bag and they took the bags to the boat for us. We were able to spend a few hours looking around before boarding. I was a little anxious that our bags would dissapear or not make it on board, but everything worked great.

Last year we left about five bags at the luggage check at the airport so we wouldn't have to take them on the vaporetta. Worked like a champ...the whole thing took maybe 3-5 minutes for both drop-off and pick-up. I think the cost was about 4 euros per bag. The bags are taken into a back room, so they appeared to be totally safe. Hours of operation are 0500 to 2100.
