The dollar slipped on Thursday, edging close to a seven-week low against the euro.
The euro inched up 0.3% to $1.4230, climbing near $1.4278 touched earlier in the week, its highest since early June.

So? And what does this tell us? That it's still pretty cheap to go to Europe now compared to last year when the Euro was at $1.60 in June ...
I would hope that no one would forgo a trip to Europe just because the exchange rate has changed so little. And I do remember paying in the high 150's. Happy travels everyone.

But still a lot better than for New Zealanders... We pay $2.17 NZ for 1 euro... and I am still going... but going with a careful budget.
