Free Wifi

Hello,

I will be bringing my netbook with me and I was wondering if there were a lot of free wifi spots in Paris, Nice, Venice, and Rome. Or do they have a lot of cafes that offer free wifi like they do in the US?

Most McDonalds and Starbucks will give you 30 minutes of free wifi with a purchase, reasonable rates after that.
