Does anyone have a good shuttle service they use to go from CDG to Paris?
Thanks
I guess depending on how many people are going and what sort of luggage you have, the RER train would likely be cheaper and easy.
That would be my preference Jon.
Not to be this trip. Too many people who do not want to use the train. Too much walking with their bags.
A shuttle will be easier this time.
Mike,
I've found the RER to be about the easiest for travel into Paris, but as this is out of the question I'd suggest checking the France or Paris Guidebooks. There are a few Shuttle services listed there with details on the costs, etc.
I believe at least one of them has to be pre-booked and you have to call them when you arrive at CDG.
Cheers!
Starting on Page 435 of RS "Paris-2009" tour guidebook with summary on top of Page 436. On May 9, 2009, I walked out of the terminal pulling my suitcase and carry-on and went about 50 feet to a curbside Roissy-Bus stop. Boarded that bus for about a 45 minute ride towards downtown. I got off that bus across the street from the Opera Metro Station. Took the Metro to a stop near Rue Cler - my destation. Would take that way again in a minute. Happy Travels
I have used Yellow Van on 6 occasions and they have always been dependable.

I'm with Charlie. I always take the roissy bus & connect to metro. The bus has never been crowded & there's not much walking. But it works well if you're staying in the 7th as you can pick up metro line 8. It may not be as convenient if you'd have several metro changes. Have you searched here for shuttle recommendations. I've seen them in the past. Also, look at the RS Paris book to see what he suggests.
Hi Mike,
We used Golden Air and were very happy with their service. I have seen some bad reviews of them on this message board, but we had no complaints--very professional.
We used Golden Air last year also and were very pleased. It was a pick up from our apartment rental to CDG--right on time, dropped us off at the right place, and cheaper than a cab.
Year before, we took a shuttle recommended by the hotel. Picked us up 20 minutes late, and then waited for his other pick up for almost 30 minutes. WWhen we got to CDG, he dropped us off at the wrong terminal and we had to sprint to the plane.
