Check with your hotel. They may let you leave it until check in time.

Most hotels will let you check out of the room and leave your bags up front for the AM or part of the day if youre not leaving right away. Just ask - they will probably do it for free since you were/are a guest. Same on getting someplace early before check in. They just need the room free and can place it in the office behind the counter etc.

Lots of people arrive early in the morning. Your hotel will probably accept the luggage and might even surprise you with an early check in.

Agree...I've never stayed in a hotel that didn't offer to store the backpack either until check-in or following check-out if needed.
