Do the businesses in Lauterbrunnen except Euros as well as their Swiss Franc?

Some will accept Euros, but they will give you a terrible exchange rate. Also any change due to you will be in Swiss Francs. You can exchange Euros into Francs at the train station.

I agree with Michael. The Swiss really like their own currency. Conversion rates are often not the best. We stayed at the Hotel Silberhorn in Lauterbrunnen (which has a great restaurant) and the prices on the menu were listed in both CHF and Euros.
(As a side note, I was just looking at the current Silberhorn menu and the prices shown are almost at the current market exchange rate. Not bad).
