I am taking high school students to Spain. Are shorts allowed these days? And if so any suggestions on length? And what is the correct attire in churches? I haven't been there in 6 years or so, and want to be sure they dress appropriately.

Hi, yes shorts are certainly allowed everywhere except in churches were arms and legs should be covered. But it's quite relaxed these days. They should wear trousers if going to a restaurant in the evening, but this is just if they don't want to be taken for American teen agers.
