Any recommendations for September 2012? Will be in Barcelona with friends and then looking to travel on my own for 3 days. Was thinking of one of the following: Alhambra, Cadiz, Seville. I have a special interest in gardens. Thanks for your input. Julie

No great interest of mine, unless you can eat what grows in the garden. Plump for one of the destinations and I could direct you there, but even if you fly it will be a half day travel, door to door. If you have to return to Barcelona, one day lost. 'safe for woman traveling alone'- safer than a great many western countries, certainly your own.
