Finalizing my plans for my 3 week summer trip. We are a family of four (kids 5 and 8). We will be DRIVING.
We will have already had our fill of Cities and sites. I am look for more of a quite rural type of place that the kids will enjoy, and that we can take some short day trips from.
I have been looking into some "campgrounds" with small "summer gites" and those look like a good options, but I have little idea which one to choose. A farm stay would be great. Something near a river/body of water would be nice too.
Any ideas?
