My fiance and I wish to rent a car in Dijon on a Saturday (around 5 pm) and return it the next day around the same time...apparently, the french don't work much on Sunday and it is terribly difficult finding a company that is open during those hours...any suggestions? Thank you so much

Wes: You're correct about the French taking Sunday seriously as a day of rest. The only thing I can think of to tell you is: do an internet search of all the rental car companies, see if they have a Dijon drop off location, and then determine from their website whether any are open Sunday later afternoon/evening. If you find one, that's going to dictate which rental company you use.

Most agencies have a key drop and a place to leave the car when the office is closed.
