Can I make a day trip, by public transport , from Paris to the village of le Quesnoy?(near Valenciennes )If so , what would I use ?
Well, in the process of researching the answer to this question, I learned why a Kiwi would want to go to le Quesnoy!
Yes, according to the Bahn.de website, you can get a train from Paris Nord to Valenciennes. Depending on which train, that leg is about two hours. From Valenciennes to le Quesnoy there are a number of trains and the trip is about 15 minutes. I had good luck entering the legs separately.
Thankyou very much , Doug., of Portland , for your helpful reply ! We are hoping to go to that village in September on our way to the Sth of France.I did not know how i could get there and I discovered this site quite by accident . Cheers !
