Which would be the best way to travel to Tangier from Cordoba? I am 58 and travelling solo in mid June. I was thinking of taking the train to Algeciras and then taking the ferry to Tangier. I am travelling further to Asilah for two nights. Any suggestions for faster and cheaper travel is appreciated, Carla

Probably the best way is train from Cordoba to Algeciras....but then bus to Tarifa, where the ferries are far more frequent, and faster. The company that runs the fast ferry from Tarifa to Tangiers offers a free bus connection from Algeciras. You can check here for details on-line.
