Eurail Passes

I am over 26 but my wife is under 26. From what I have read, I must buy an adult (1st Class) Eurail pass, but she is eligible to buy a 2nd class/youth pass. Would this mean that we would not sit together or I would have to buy her an upgrade on every leg?? HELP!

You are correct, however, you can buy 2 saver passes for about the price of one 1st class and 1 youth. This way you both get to ride in 1st class. My daughter and her boyfriend are having the same dilemma.
