Has anyone taken Icelandair to Paris lately? I am taking a group of my French students to Paris in April, and since it has been at least 25 years since I've taken Icelandair (then known as Icelandic), I am wondering what to expect. In the past trips with these kids, we've taken Air France but this year we couldn't get space on a flight.
My questions: quality of meals? price of meals? layout of plane? stopover in Iceland - is there time for a quick visit to a gift shop?
Any information will be helpful to relay at our orientation meeting end of March.
We're flying out of Boston Logan.
Thanks.
In 2005 I flew Minneapolis-London and Paris-Minneapolis on Icelandair. The meals were good and at that time they were free. That's probably no longer true. You can check menus and prices on the Web site. There was time to visit the Reykjavik airport gift shop between planes.
Go to airlinequality.com. I just checked Icelandair and there was 77 reviews on this airline.
